Celestron Luminos 31mm Eyepiece

The new Celestron Luminos ultra-wide-angle eyepieces have been designed to provide a breathtaking visual experience, especially for deep-sky objects. They offer a massive 82-degree apparent field of view and magnifications that vary from low to very high, depending on the focal length. And being parfocal, the Luminos series requires virtually no focus adjustment when changing magnification. The barrels are made of hard-anodized aluminum, scratch-resistant and threaded to accept standard threaded filters. Luminos eyepieces are very comfortable to use: the eyecups are adjustable via a convenient helical mechanism to ensure comfort even for those who need to observe while wearing glasses, and the rubber grip, designed to offer an excellent hold, makes it comfortable to insert and remove the eyepiece and allows for handling even in very cold climates without unpleasant sensations. Luminos eyepieces offer: •82° apparent field (UltraWide) •Adjustable eyecups (with helical mechanism) comfortable even for eyeglass wearers •Parfocal: no need to refocus when changing eyepieces of the same series •Threaded barrels – Accept standard 1.25" or 2" filters (with M48 thread) •Non-slip grip – Designed for a secure hold even with gloves and in humid climates •Large diameter eye lens – Offers comfortable viewing. •Long eye relief, to ensure maximum visual comfort even for eyeglass wearers
