ZWO ASI662MM Mono – Ultra-Sensitive Monochrome Astronomy Camera
The ZWO ASI662MM Mono is a monochrome astronomy camera based on the back-illuminated Sony IMX662 sensor, designed for advanced planetary imaging, the Moon, the Sun (with certified filters), and high-speed lucky imaging. Thanks to the total absence of amp-glow, extremely low read noise, and high sensitivity even in the near-infrared, it delivers clean, high-contrast images that are easy to process.
Key Features
- Back-illuminated Sony IMX662 monochrome sensor.
- 1920 × 1080 resolution (2.1 MP).
- 2.9 µm pixels for an optimal balance between resolution and sensitivity.
- Zero amp-glow for clean, calibratable frames.
- Very low read noise.
- High IR sensitivity, ideal with IR-pass filters.
- High frame rate for lucky imaging.
- USB 3.0 for fast data transfer.
- DDR3 buffer for stable acquisition.
- Compatible with ASIAIR, FireCapture, SharpCap, NINA.
Perfect for Modern Planetary and IR Imaging
The ASI662MM excels in:
- Monochrome planetary imaging
- High-contrast Moon imaging
- Sun in white light and H-alpha (with appropriate filters)
- Lucky imaging with medium-to-good seeing
- Infrared imaging to reduce seeing effects
