ZWO ASI432MM Mono – High-Sensitivity Monochrome Astronomy Camera
The ZWO ASI432MM Mono is a monochrome astronomy camera designed for advanced planetary imaging, solar observations (with certified filters), precision autoguiding, and scientific applications. Thanks to its 9 µm pixels and high sensitivity, it offers excellent performance in low-light conditions and with long focal length instruments.
Main Features
- High-sensitivity monochrome CMOS sensor.
- 9 µm pixels for maximum light gathering.
- 1600 × 1100 resolution (1.76 MP).
- Very low read noise.
- High frame rate for planetary imaging.
- USB 3.0 for fast data transfer.
- DDR3 buffer for stable data streams.
- Excellent as an advanced autoguider.
- Compatible with ASIAIR, NINA, SharpCap, FireCapture.
- Compact and sturdy aluminum body.
Why choose large 9 µm pixels
Large pixels allow for:
- Greater sensitivity on planets and the Sun
- Better SNR on long focal length telescopes
- More stable guiding even with faint stars
- Less demand for perfect seeing
This makes the ASI432MM ideal for SCT, Maksutov, and long-focal-length refractor telescopes.
