ZWO ASI2600MM Duo – APS-C Monochrome Astronomical Camera with Integrated Guiding
The ZWO ASI2600MM Duo is a monochrome APS-C CMOS astronomical camera equipped with a 26 MP Sony IMX571 primary sensor and an integrated IMX220 guide sensor. This unique combination eliminates the need for an external guide scope, offers a lighter and cleaner setup, and completely resolves issues related to differential flexure.
Key Features
- 26 MP Sony IMX571 APS-C monochrome primary sensor.
- Integrated Sony IMX220 guide sensor for high-performance autoguiding.
- Zero amp-glow for simplified calibration.
- True 16-bit color depth with high dynamic range.
- Extremely low read noise (down to 1.0 e⁻).
- 51k e⁻ Full-Well Capacity to handle bright stars without saturation.
- Dual-stage TEC cooling down to -35°C below ambient temperature.
- Simplified connection: one camera for both imaging and guiding.
- Compatible with ASIAIR, NINA, Voyager, SharpCap, and professional software.
- Robust aluminum body with anti-dew system.
Advanced Imaging and Guiding Performance
The ASI2600MM Duo excels in deep-sky imaging, scientific projects, and high-resolution mosaics. The integrated guide sensor ensures precise and stable autoguiding, eliminating the flexure, additional weight, and complexity of a traditional setup.
Integrated IMX220 Guiding: zero flexure, zero issues
The 4 MP IMX220 sensor built into the camera allows for guiding directly from the main optical train, eliminating:
- Guide scopes and rings
- Differential flexure
- Extra cables
- Extra weight on the telescope
Dual-stage TEC Cooling
The TEC module keeps the sensor up to -35°C below ambient, drastically reducing thermal noise and improving the quality of long exposures.
Compact, professional, and optimized design
Made of CNC-machined aluminum, the camera offers rigidity, durability, and a built-in anti-dew system. The backfocus is a standard 17.5 mm, compatible with most flatteners and correctors on the market.
