Vixen Polarie Star Tracker KIT with M-178V Tripod and 2 Ball Heads

Vixen POLARIE - the smallest star tracker in the world!!! Vixen kit consisting of the Vixen Polarie star tracker, M-184V tripod, and two ball heads.

Weighs only 740 grams with dimensions of just 95 x 137 x 58 mm.

Payload of approximately 3 kg and high tracking precision: exposures of up to 5-10 minutes and focal lengths of up to 300 mm are possible.

Quick polar alignment thanks to the optional polar scope (the same one used by Vixen Sphinx and AXD mounts) with a magnetic attachment. Alignment precision reaches 1-2'.

The polar scope is equipped with an integrated bubble level. Therefore, it is not necessary for the tripod to be perfectly level, and there is no need to rotate the star tracker to match time and date indices. Includes a reticle for polar alignment valid until 2025 (replaceable after that date). Magnetic attachment for easily detaching the polar scope from the Polarie once aligned.

Possibility of daytime polar alignment thanks to the built-in compass and clinometer for latitude (adjustable from 0 to 70°).

Operation in both the northern and southern hemispheres.

3V power supply via just two AA batteries or via USB port.

Various tracking speeds:

• sidereal
• half-sidereal for simultaneous photography of landscapes and stars
• lunar
• solar

The Vixen Polarie star tracker is compatible with any photographic tripod or with the dedicated Vixen photographic tripod with ball heads.
