The ZWO ASI585MM Pro is a monochrome astronomical camera with a Sony IMX585 1/1.2” sensor, designed to achieve excellent performance in high-resolution planetary imaging, lucky imaging, EAA, and fast deep-sky photography. Thanks to the total absence of amp-glow, extremely low noise, and 2.9 μm pixels, it offers sharp, smooth, and detail-rich images.
Main features
- Monochrome Sony IMX585 sensor 1/1.2”.
- 2.9 μm pixels for high resolution and fine sampling.
- Total absence of amp-glow → simple darks and clean images.
- Very low read noise (1.0–1.5 e⁻).
- Very high QE → top performance in Hα, OIII, and SII.
- Large format perfect for the Moon and Sun in high resolution.
- USB 3.0 for high-speed planetary streams.
- 256 MB DDR3 buffer for stability in rapid acquisitions.
