The Tecnosky 2.5" variable 1.0x flattener corrects field curvature in apochromatic refractors, providing pin-sharp stars to the edges, even with full-frame cameras. The distance to the sensor is adjusted via an internal mechanism, allowing it to adapt to various Tecnosky telescopes from 80 to 152 mm.
Main features
- Two optical elements, one ED, with multi-layer anti-reflection coating.
- Field corrected and illuminated up to full frame.
- Adjustable backfocus with side locking knob (55 mm fully retracted).
- M63 telescope connection, M48 camera connection; includes an internal thread for 2" filters.
- Examples: 73 mm required for the 115 APO (18 mm extension tube), approx. 78.3 mm for the OWL 90.
