Technical data sheet
[Used] GSO Newton 200/800 f/4 – Optical Tube for Astrophotography
Unique used piece, at €370 instead of €499 for the new one. The photos are of the new product.
The GSO Newton 200/800 is a 203 mm f/4 optical tube: bright and with a wide field, it is one of the most widely used Newtonians for deep-sky astrophotography, and thanks to its diameter, it is also excellent for visual observation. The 2" Crayford focuser with 1:10 micro-focuser has enough backfocus for astronomical cameras and DSLRs.
Key features
- 203 mm at f/4: lots of light and short exposure times.
- Parabolic primary mirror with 94% reflectivity aluminum coating.
- 2" Crayford focuser with 1:10 dual speed, for precise focusing.
- Thin vanes for the secondary mirror support.
- Compact tube: 73 cm long.
