The Celestron CGEM DX is a robust GoTo equatorial mount, featuring made in USA mechanics and a 22 kg payload capacity: it comfortably supports 8" to 11" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes and medium-sized refractors, even for astrophotography. This used unit is sold with two counterweights, 10 kg and 5 kg.

Main features

  • GoTo with All-Star Polar Align: precise polar alignment even without a view of the North Star.
  • Tracking up to 30° past the meridian, so you don't have to interrupt shooting during a transition.
  • Servomotors with planetary gear reduction, brass worm gear, and steel ring gear.
  • Internal cabling and electronics protected from the elements.
  • ST-4 autoguider port and PC control via NexRemote (ASCOM).
  • Database of 40,000 objects plus 400 programmable positions.
