TS Optics 80mm right-angle finder with upright, non-reversed image. The TSFRE80 is much more than just a finder; it is a true wide-field refractor. Hundreds of deep-sky objects are already visible through this super finder. It truly earns its name, as finding celestial objects is very easy. Naturally, it is highly versatile. In addition to being the ultimate finder, the refractor can also be used as a travel telescope or as a spotting scope for terrestrial observation. You can use many 1.25" eyepieces to vary the magnification across a wide range. The finder can also be used as a guidescope when combined with specific autoguiders. Advantages and features of the TSFRE80: • Quality metal construction for maximum stability • Good 2-element, multi-coated objective • Focusing via rotation of the eyepiece side of the 1.25" helical focuser • Solid locking thanks to the compression ring • Upright and non-reversed image thanks to the 90° Amici prism • The viewfinder can be rotated in the desired direction • Adjustable tube rings feature metal screws with plastic tips to prevent scratches on the tube • The scope fits standard finder shoes like those used by Skywatcher, Celestron, GSO, etc. • A finder base is included for flexible adaptation to telescope tubes: The focus of the finder is located approximately 5 mm above the 1.25" focuser connection. This is sufficient for many eyepieces, such as Plössls. An excellent eyepiece for centering is the TSIR20 reticle eyepiece, which can be illuminated and is linked in the accessories section. The finder is also suitable for autoguiding, but the autoguider must have a 1.25" housing; otherwise, focus will not be reached.
