Skywatcher Skymax 150 EQ5 Synscan - Maksutov

Thanks to the use of high-quality low-dispersion glass and precise craftsmanship, this 150mm diameter telescope offers excellent observations of double stars and solar system objects. The optics also perform admirably in deep-sky observations, thanks to their high contrast.

With a 150mm diameter, this powerful yet compact Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope offers the best performance obtainable from a telescope of this optical design in its price range! The specific optical design provides the best performance in planetary observation and photography, where it is necessary to generate high magnification while maintaining the highest possible contrast. The planets and the Moon show many fine details, but you can also use this Sky-Watcher MAK150 for observing faint objects, as stars will truly appear as pinpoints!

The Sky-Watcher Maksutov-Cassegrain 150 is the ideal instrument for planetary and lunar photography as it offers a small secondary mirror and therefore low obstruction. Furthermore, thanks to a high focal length (1800mm), a 2x or 3x Barlow lens is sufficient to obtain, with any planetary camera, exceptional magnification with incredible images displayed on your computer screen.
