Skywatcher AZ5 Mount with tripod

A solid, robust, and precise mount for astronomical and terrestrial observations. The new Sky-Watcher AZ5 alt-azimuth mount is the definitive choice for those who need a mount that guarantees excellent load capacity, while simultaneously offering pointing precision and ease of use comparable to high-end mounts.

Unlike competing alt-azimuth mounts, the new Sky-Watcher AZ5 allows for height adjustment without any limits: pointing at objects at the zenith or on the horizon has never been easier. In any position and with any type of optical tube, you will be able to point at any object you desire with fluid and precise movements, whether it is just above the horizon or at the zenith.

The load capacity of up to 5 kg will allow you to mount even large optical tubes on the AZ5 and enjoy excellent observations without shaking or unwanted mount movements. The fluid movements with friction locks will amaze you. If you then want to refine your pointing, simply rely on the precision adjustment on both axes with a worm gear mechanism.

The tripod, identical to that of the Star Adventurer, will guarantee stability, lightness, and a lack of vibrations over time. A lightweight and portable support for a high-class mount.
