With a head weight of just 2kg, the Sky-Watcher AZ-GTI-X Wi-Fi mount is the ultimate motorized Wi-Fi GOTO mount for those who have always wanted a stable, lightweight, and compact support to take with them in their continuous search for dark skies far from light pollution, without sacrificing the convenience of Wi-Fi automatic pointing motorization.

The maximum total load capacity is 10kg if you choose to mount an optical tube on each side, while if you use a single optical tube, it is 6kg. The versatility of the Sky-Watcher AZ-GTI-X mount design will allow you to use even medium-sized tubes without encountering stability issues.

Thanks to the Vixen-style L-bracket included, it will be possible to use a telescope simultaneously—mounting it on one side of the mount head—and a DSLR or mirrorless camera to take wonderful images of celestial objects while observing visually. For those who wish to control their camera directly from their smartphone, a SNAP port is available (optional cable required). Taking series of shots, timelapses, etc., will no longer be a problem.

The Freedom Find dual encoders mounted on the axes will allow you to perform manual pointing of objects while always knowing the coordinates of the portion of the sky you are observing, ideal for night sky explorers who love to scan and search the depths of the sky without being tied to motors and clutches.

Controllable entirely via Wi-Fi and the SynScan App, available for free in the respective stores for iOS and Android devices, you will have all the power and features of the SynScan GoTo hand controllers incorporated into your smartphone: less bulk, greater ease of use, and maps and ephemerides always updated to the latest available version. Perform a quick one-, two-, or three-star alignment and you will have over 40,000 objects available to point at automatically and with very high precision. Simply power the mount with 12V using batteries or external power supplies, perform a simple alignment, and the DC Servo motors will keep the objects you are observing, be they clusters, galaxies, the Moon, or planets, always in the center of your telescope's field of view.
