Sky-Watcher Orbis 60EDX – 60/300 Smart Telescope with Eyepiece and Dual Camera

The Sky-Watcher Orbis 60EDX is Sky-Watcher's first smart telescope, unveiled at Imaging World 2026 in Nuremberg. Like other "all-in-one" telescopes, it is controlled via smartphone and automatically handles pointing, focusing, tracking, and imaging; furthermore, it features something usually missing from smart telescopes: a real eyepiece. This way, after photographing a nebula, you can view the rings of Saturn or the craters of the Moon live with your own eyes.

Key Features

• Smart telescope with eyepiece: search, pointing, focusing, tracking, and imaging are initiated via the app; whenever you want, you can look directly through the eyepiece, which is usually not possible with smart telescopes.
• 60 mm f/5 objective: 300 mm focal length and approximately 44% more light intake compared to common 50 mm smart telescopes.
• Dual Sony STARVIS 2 cameras: 8.3 MP IMX585 (3840 × 2160) for imaging and a wide-angle IMX662 for orienting yourself in the sky and finding objects; 2.9 µm pixels, high sensitivity, and no amp glow, for clean frames even during long exposures.
• Fully automatic: integrated motorized mount and autofocus: choose the object, and the Orbis finds it, centers on it, and tracks it.
• A full night without accessories: built-in filters, 128 GB of storage, and a 10,000 mAh battery.
• Comprehensive app: search for objects, record, stack frames, and process images.
