PrimaLuceLab SESTO SENSO 3 – Robotic USB-C/Wi-Fi focuser motor with encoder and SCC2
SESTO SENSO 3 is PrimaLuceLab’s most advanced robotic focuser motor for Crayford or Rack-and-Pinion focusers. Compact and all-in-one, it integrates a position encoder, USB-C, Wi-Fi with Virtual HandPad, and Self Centering Clamp 2 (SCC2) for quick installation without brackets.

Quick installation with Self Centering Clamp 2 (SCC2)
The SCC2 system connects directly to the focuser shaft and includes bushings for 25/26/33/37 mm diameters, avoiding the need for brackets and adapters. You can continue using the coarse manual knobs: thanks to the encoder, the position is not lost.
Encoder & Automatic Position Recovery
The encoder precisely monitors focus movement and enables APR, which restores the previous position after manual or accidental adjustments. Ideal for educational observatories or shared setups.
Modern connectivity: USB-C & Wi-Fi
The USB-C port ensures stable connections with Windows PC/EAGLE. The integrated Wi-Fi offers direct control via Virtual HandPad from a smartphone/tablet, even in parallel with the PC.
PLAY & ASCOM: flexible workflow
With PLAY, you gain access to AutoFocus, presets, temperature compensation, and monitoring. ASCOM drivers ensure maximum compatibility with popular third-party software.
Integration with ARCO, DARK and GHOST mode
The ARCO port allows for control/power of the rotator with a single cable. DARK mode turns off LEDs during acquisitions; GHOST mode on EAGLE reduces cable clutter and acts as a backup.
