PrimaLuceLab SESTO SENSO 2 robotic focuser motor

SESTO SENSO is the motor for your telescope's focuser! Compatible with most focusers, you can install it in place of the micrometric knob and connect it to the USB port of EAGLE or a Windows computer to remotely control your telescope's focus with no vibrations and extremely high precision. The provided software and ASCOM driver allow you to easily set many advanced functions of SESTO SENSO, which is particularly useful for astrophotography. Thanks to its precise control motor with integrated electronics, SESTO SENSO achieves an incredible focusing precision of only 0.7 microns!

Thanks to in-depth design, PrimaLuceLab technicians have created the SESTO SENSO robotic focuser motor, incorporating all the elements usually external to standard motorized focusing systems. Systems composed of separate motors and control boards with connecting cables are now a thing of the past; SESTO SENSO houses both the motor and the control electronics in a compact metal box (dimensions 87 x 60 x 43mm). All this comes with the fantastic design that PrimaLuceLab applies to all its products.

Compact, lightweight, and integrated construction. SESTO SENSO features 3 ports. In the image below, on the right is the 12V power port that powers the motor and integrated electronics. Using the specific cable provided in the package, it can be powered via a common cigarette lighter socket. Alternatively, an optional cable is also available to power it directly from EAGLE. In the center is the USB connection port which, via the specific cable provided in the package, allows you to connect SESTO SENSO to EAGLE or another control computer. On the left is the port for connecting the optional temperature sensor, which allows you to perform automatic focus adjustment procedures based on ambient temperature changes.

Compatible with many focusers. Thanks to its unique design, the SESTO SENSO robotic motor is compatible with many different focusers, thanks to the kit of bushings supplied as standard in the package. You just need to choose the right bushing for your focuser and install SESTO SENSO; it's very simple! Another advantage of our design is the ability to easily move SESTO SENSO from one telescope to another. If you change telescopes, you can easily attach SESTO SENSO to your new instrument!

ASCOM driver and configuration software. SESTO SENSO was designed for astrophotography and to provide all the features and commands useful for even the most difficult shots. It comes with control software and an ASCOM driver, so it can be used with the most popular astrophotography imaging software such as BackyardEOS, BackyardNikon, MaximDL, FocusMax, Voyager, Sequence Generator Pro, and others. If your imaging software supports multiple focusers, it is also possible to use multiple SESTO SENSO units simultaneously. Through the SESTO SENSO software, you can adjust various advanced settings:
