The 350mm Vixen-style plate is part of our PLUS system (Prima Luce Universal System) which includes many other plates, support rings, guide rings, and clamps to offer you maximum freedom in building your mechanical support system, depending on the application you want to create. In fact, all PLUS elements feature threaded holes, through-holes, and slots suitable for connecting the elements together, always with maximum rigidity and convenience. For this reason, PrimaLuceLab has specifically designed many elements, including the 350mm PLUS Vixen-style plate. Each component of the PLUS system is built starting from blocks of aluminum that are machined with high-precision CNC machines. The aluminum is then sandblasted to obtain a higher quality surface finish and is anodized (hard anodizing) to increase the hardness of the material and protect it from corrosion.

Thanks to its specific design, the 350mm PLUS Vixen-style plate can be:

1. positioned under support rings to install the telescope on mounts with a Vixen connection
2. installed under a camera to connect it to a telescope mount with a Vixen-type connection
3. installed under a telescope or camera to connect it to a photo head with an Arca Swiss-type connection
4. installed above support rings to increase the mechanical rigidity of the entire telescope (and allow for attaching other accessories such as guide rings to precisely adjust the position of the guide telescope).
5. used as a base to create a dual plate (which allows two telescopes to be installed in parallel on a mount equipped with a single Vixen connection) together with 2 PLUS clamps.

In the image above, the 350mm PLUS Vixen-style plate is installed under 145mm diameter PLUS support rings. EAGLE is installed on top of the rings. If you have mechanical accessories from other brands, you can still use all the elements of the PLUS system. In fact, we have provided a series of central slots that allow, for example, support or guide rings to be fixed to this plate using a screw.
