The special Crayford design with 18 ball bearings allows ESATTO 2" to have a remarkable payload capacity of 5 kg with the focusing smoothness required by modern astrophotography techniques (e.g., automatic focusing with V-curves). ESATTO 2" has an interior with 51 mm of free aperture and 15 mm of travel, offering an incredible reading resolution of 0.04 microns per step!

Designed for remote control via USB-C port from EAGLE or a Windows computer with a standard USB port

ESATTO has been specifically designed for easy remote control and to allow your telescope to take advantage of all the latest technologies in astrophotography. ESATTO is equipped with a robust USB-C port (you can connect ESATTO to any USB port thanks to the cable included in the package) to connect to an EAGLE or any Windows computer (tested with Windows 10 computers) and control it via the PLAY software or the supplied ASCOM driver. When connected to a USB port capable of providing at least 1A, ESATTO can be powered and controlled via this single cable!

Designed for remote control via WiFi, from any smartphone, tablet, or computer with the ESATTO Virtual HandPad app

ESATTO is equipped with WiFi remote control capabilities so you can control it from any smartphone, tablet, or computer! Connect your device to ESATTO's WiFi network and launch the app: you will be able to control the focuser using the dedicated ESATTO Virtual HandPad app. Thanks to convenient preset settings, you can easily move the focuser to specific predetermined positions. Also great for visual use! WiFi control also works if ESATTO is connected to a computer, so you can control it simultaneously from 2 devices.

Focuser tube with M56x1 thread and stop ring for a perfect camera connection

We know that a perfect focuser is nothing without a solid connection to the camera. That is why, instead of using a standard 50.8mm eyepiece holder, ESATTO 2" offers an M56x1 male thread (which allows you to connect SkyWatcher/Orion reducers for ED 80, 100, and 120 refractors) and, through a complete series of optional adapters with stop ring, allows you to directly connect the most common reflex, mirrorless, and cooled CCD or CMOS cameras to the focuser. The stop ring allows you to lock the camera at a precise angle to better frame the object you want to photograph. Adapters with stop rings are available in many different sizes: this way, you can connect any camera or accessory with maximum rigidity and convenience.

Connect ESATTO with a single cable to ARCO to also remotely control the camera rotator and field de-rotator

ESATTO includes a special port that allows you to connect it directly to ARCO, the camera rotator and field de-rotator. With ARCO, you can remotely control your camera's rotation angle to obtain perfect framing of the object you want to photograph. If you have an alt-azimuth mount, you can use ARCO to de-rotate the field without the need for an equatorial wedge! ESATTO and ARCO are designed to work together: only a single cable between the two will be needed!
