The 80mm PLUS guide rings are part of our PLUS (Prima Luce Universal System) system which includes many other guide rings, support rings, plates and clamps to offer you maximum freedom in building your mechanical telescope support system. You can install the 80mm PLUS guide rings directly on top of the EAGLE using the 2 additional plates (which provide a flat base for optimal attachment) and the 4 M5x12 countersunk head screws provided in the package.

You can also install the 80mm PLUS guide rings on top of PLUS support rings or on top of a Vixen or Losmandy style PLUS plate using the 4 M6x12 screws provided in the package.

Each component of the PLUS system is manufactured starting from blocks of aluminum that are machined with high-precision CNC machines. The aluminum is then sandblasted to obtain a higher quality surface finish and is anodized (hard anodizing) to increase the hardness of the material and protect it from corrosion. If you have mechanical accessories from other brands, you can still use all elements of the PLUS system. In fact, we have provided a central hole that allows, for example, fixing these rings to plates and support rings from other brands.
