The 115mm PLUS guide rings are part of our PLUS (Prima Luce Universal System) system, which includes many other guide rings, support rings, plates, and clamps to give you maximum freedom in building your mechanical support system, depending on the application you want to create. In fact, all PLUS elements feature threaded holes, through holes, and slots suitable for connecting the elements together, always with maximum rigidity and convenience.

For this reason, PrimaLuceLab has specifically designed many elements, including the 115mm PLUS guide rings. Each component of the PLUS system is built starting from blocks of aluminum that is machined with high-precision CNC machines. The aluminum is then sandblasted to obtain a higher quality surface finish and is anodized (hard anodizing) to increase the hardness of the material and protect it from corrosion.

Thanks to their specific design, the 115mm PLUS guide rings can be:

1. screwed (with 2 screws each) directly onto all PLUS compatible support rings or with a single screw onto support rings from other brands (which feature a central through hole)
2. screwed (with 2 screws each) onto PLUS clamps: if you install a Vixen or Losmandy PLUS plate above your telescope's support rings, you will be able to slide the guide rings into the perfect position to properly balance the weight of the guide telescope.
