iOptron CEM120 GoTo Mount
An extraordinary innovation in mount design
Recognizing the growing demand for a precise and stable equatorial mount with the versatility to carry larger instruments and complex imaging systems, iOptron has created the CEM120. It offers the advantages of their revolutionary center-balance design: stability, precision, and smooth mechanical operation, while being capable of carrying a payload of up to 52 kg.
The natural stability of the center-balance design is due to the fact that the center of gravity of the mount and its payload falls directly over the center of the tripod or pier.
The performance of the CEM120 is demonstrated by its low periodic tracking error. In addition to extraordinary stability, the CEM120 features an advanced cable management system consisting of multiple ports in multiple locations to prevent tangles and reduce the possibility of broken cables. It also adds some new features to the CEM family, such as Wi-Fi and LAN for remote operation and easy-to-use, reliable clutches on both axes.
