Howie Glatter tuBlug – The convenient accessory for collimation.

The tuBlug is the answer for anyone who wants to collimate their solid-tube Dobson from the primary mirror side or who doesn't want to remove the stray light shroud from their truss-tube Dobson.
The tuBlug is a variation of the Blug (Barlowed Laser Collimation plug) with a 45° viewing window outside the tube (tubed Barlowed laser collimation).
tuBlug stands for "tunnel barlowed collimation plug." The Barlow lens is integrated inside the "tuBlug" and features a multi-layer anti-reflection coating. The "tuBlug" is available in two sizes: 1.25'' and 2''.

What the "tuBlug" does

Like a Cheshire eyepiece, the 45° wedge allows you to easily distinguish the concentric circles of the laser image and the center mark on the primary mirror during collimation. Based on the laser image, you can adjust and correct the primary and secondary mirrors on the optical axis.
