Celestron 31.8mm SLR Camera Adapter

Universal adapter that allows you to mount any SLR camera (equipped with a T2 ring) onto any telescope featuring a 31.8mm (1.25") eyepiece holder. This adapter features a 31.8mm diameter barrel, which is inserted into the telescope's eyepiece holder, and a T2 threaded mount (M42x0.75mm) that screws onto the SLR camera's T2 ring. It allows for prime focus photography with the telescope. Note: with some types of telescopes, such as small Newtonians, it does not guarantee reaching infinity focus; therefore, it is necessary to verify if the instrument has sufficient backfocus before purchasing. It may cause vignetting (light fall-off at the edges of the image), especially with Full Format DSLRs.
