Celestron Powerseeker 127EQ - Newtonian

The Powerseeker 127EQ is a telescope designed for children and beginners. The PowerSeeker series was designed to give first-time buyers the perfect combination of quality, value, features, and power. All models feature an erecting image system, allowing for both astronomical and terrestrial observations. Amateur astronomy is a great family hobby that can be enjoyed all year round, and PowerSeeker telescopes are the ideal choice for families looking for an affordable, quality telescope that will provide many hours of enjoyment for children and adults alike. With the 114EQ model, which is 329 times more powerful than the human eye, you will see many lunar craters, the phases of Venus, the satellites and equatorial belts of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn, and under dark, clear skies, even the brightest deep-sky objects: star clusters, nebulae, and even some galaxies! PowerSeeker telescopes are quick and easy to set up – even for beginners. No tools are required for assembly! Their sturdy equatorial mounts are perfect for tracking celestial objects. All PowerSeekers come with a full range of eyepieces plus a 3x Barlow lens that provides hundreds of times more magnification than the naked eye! These telescopes are designed and built using all-glass optical components with high-transmission coatings for enhanced image brightness and clarity. Included with the telescope is the "TheSky" Level 1 planetarium software CD-ROM, which is useful for locating and identifying thousands of celestial objects on your laptop.
