Celestron X-CEL LX 18mm Eyepiece

The new X-Cel LX series eyepieces are of very high quality and are ideal for planetary observations. Redesigned with an aesthetically pleasing yet robust rubber grip and equipped with adjustable twist-up eyecups (also suitable for those who wear glasses), these new eyepieces are designed to provide maximum visual comfort and great ease of use. They feature a large 60° apparent field of view and a 6-element optical design with fully multi-coated surfaces to ensure very pleasant wide-field observations. X-Cel LX eyepieces are parfocal, meaning they do not require focus adjustments when switching focal lengths (within the same eyepiece series). •Long eye relief makes viewing comfortable even when using very short focal length eyepieces •The wide-angle field enhances the viewing of astronomical objects •The 6-element multi-coated optical design offers sharper and higher-contrast images •The adjustable twist-up eyecups are easier and more comfortable, especially for eyeglass wearers •The rubber grip improves handling of the eyepiece even in very cold and damp weather. •Parfocal eyepieces do not require focus adjustments when changing the eyepiece focal length
