Celestron X-CEL LX 12mm Eyepiece

The new X-Cel LX series eyepieces are of very high quality and are ideal for planetary observations. Redesigned with an aesthetically pleasing yet robust rubber grip and equipped with adjustable-height eyecups (also suitable for eyeglass wearers), these new eyepieces are designed to provide maximum visual comfort and great ease of use. They have a wide 60° apparent field of view and a 6-element optical design treated with multi-layer anti-reflective coating to ensure highly enjoyable wide-field observations. X-Cel LX eyepieces are parfocal and therefore require no focus adjustments when changing focal lengths (within the same eyepiece series). •The long eye relief makes viewing comfortable even when using very short focal length eyepieces •The wide-angle field of view enhances the viewing of astronomical objects •The 6-element multi-coated optical design offers sharper and more contrasted images •The adjustable-height eyecups are easier and more comfortable, especially for eyeglass wearers •The rubber grip improves the handling of the eyepiece even in very cold and humid weather. •Parfocal eyepieces do not require focus adjustment when changing the eyepiece focal length
