Celestron Luminos 7mm Eyepiece

The new Celestron Luminos ultra-wide angle eyepieces have been designed to provide a breathtaking visual experience, especially for deep-sky objects. They offer a vast 82-degree apparent field of view and magnifications ranging from low to very high, depending on the focal length. And because they are parfocal, Luminos eyepieces require virtually no focus adjustments when switching magnifications. The barrels are made of hard-anodized aluminum, which is scratch-resistant, and are threaded to accept standard filters. Luminos eyepieces are very comfortable to use: the eyecups are adjustable via a practical helical mechanism to accommodate those who need to observe while wearing glasses, and the rubber grip, designed to offer an excellent hold, makes it easy to insert and remove the eyepiece and allows for handling even in very cold climates without any unpleasant sensation. Luminos eyepieces offer: • 82° apparent field of view (UltraWide) • Adjustable eyecups (with helical mechanism) comfortable even for those who wear glasses • Parfocal: no need to refocus when changing eyepieces of the same series • Threaded barrels – Accept standard 1.25" or 2" filters (with M48 threading) • Non-slip grip – Designed for a secure hold even with gloves and in humid conditions • Large diameter eye lens – Offers comfortable viewing. • Long eye relief, to ensure maximum visual comfort even for those who wear glasses
