Celestron 90° Prism Diagonal
90° prism diagonal. It is designed for use with rear-focusing telescopes (Schmidt-Cassegrain, Maksutov-Cassegrain, refractors). It allows for comfortable viewing of objects at a 90° angle relative to the direction the telescope is pointing, thus enabling comfortable viewing when the telescope is aimed toward the zenith (i.e., directly overhead) or at objects high in the sky. The resulting image is correctly oriented top-to-bottom, but will be reversed left-to-right. It is made with a high-quality optical prism. It fits into 31.8 mm (1.25") diameter eyepiece holders and accepts eyepieces of the same diameter.
