Player One Astronomy Saturn-C SQR USB3.0 Color Camera

The Player One Astronomy Saturn-C SQR USB3.0 color camera uses the brand new 1" Sony Starvis BSI IMX533 square sensor. The 3.76-micron pixel has a Full Well Capacity of 74Ke with a total of 9MP (resolution is 3008x3008) and a diagonal of 16mm. With a 1-inch sensor, the Saturn camera is very well-suited for solar and lunar mosaic photography and for deep-sky photography through image stacking, thanks to its zero amp-glow! Extended Full Well Capacity Player One has succeeded in extending the Full Well Capacity of the Saturn-C to 73ke, which is approximately 1.5x the value of a standard IMX 533 sensor camera (50ke). High frame rate! In addition to the Full Well Capacity, the Saturn camera also has a higher frame rate compared to other models equipped with the IMX533 sensor! Dual sampling mode The Saturn camera has two sampling modes: Normal mode, where it achieves high frames per second for planetary photography, and LRN (low readout noise) mode, with very low readout noise and high dynamic range for deep-sky photography. Sensor tilt plate When taking solar photos with H-Alpha telescopes, the famous Newton rings are annoying. It is possible to capture a more uniform solar image without Newton rings by adjusting the front plate. The plate tilt is also very useful for correcting any field distortions in deep-sky photography. 256 MB DDR3 cache Player One Astronomy cameras are the first to include DDR3 cache in all planetary cameras worldwide! It helps to stabilize and protect data transmission, effectively avoids frame drops, and significantly reduces read noise. DPS Technology Player One Astronomy planetary cameras feature DPS (Dead Pixel Suppression) technology; dead pixels (including both hot and cold pixels) are swept away from the image. The DPS function is active throughout the entire imaging session; there is no need to worry about it! Player One cameras ensure safety through overvoltage and overcurrent protection mechanisms. Use the ST4 guide cable to connect the camera and the guide port of your equatorial mount to perform autoguiding. Passive cooling system The Saturn camera adopts the new Player One passive cooling system, which ensures a temperature difference of at least 15° compared to other cameras! The large sensor allows for capturing the entire lunar or solar disc with a 1000mm focal length!
