Player One Astronomy Ceres-M USB3.0 Mono Autoguiding Camera (AR0130)
Player One Astronomy Ceres-M USB3.0 Mono Autoguiding Camera (AR0130) The new autoguiding camera from Player One Astronomy featuring the well-known 1280x960 pixel monochrome Aptina AR0130 sensor. Compared to the planetary series, autoguiding cameras do not have DDR cache but retain the USB3 port and DPS technology for noise reduction. Despite the absence of cache, it can easily be used for planetary imaging as well! The convenient "eyepiece" shape makes it compatible with small guide telescopes and low-profile off-axis guiders. DPS Technology Player One Astronomy cameras feature DPS (Dead Pixel Suppression) technology. DPS analyzes many dark frames to find abnormal pixels. All dead pixels in the image (including both hot and cold pixels) are swept away. The DPS function is active during the entire imaging session. Overvoltage and overcurrent protection mechanism. Player One cameras ensure the safety of their cameras and equipment through an overvoltage and overcurrent protection mechanism. Data Port When the camera is connected to the USB3.0 port and full-resolution preview is used, it can reach 65 FPS in 10-bit mode (RAW8). When recording images, since the actual write speed will be affected by the write speed of the hard drive itself, when the hard drive write speed is slow, recording may not reach the theoretical speed. It is recommended to use a high-quality solid-state drive to record data to take full advantage of the camera's performance. Use the ST4 guide cable to connect the camera and the AUTO GUIDE port of the equatorial mount for autoguiding. Performance Sensor Aptina AR0130 CMOS (Mono) Diagonal 6 mm Total Pixels 1.2 Mega Pixels Max Resolution 1284×964 Pixel Size 3.75 µm Chip Size 4.8×3.6 mm Frame Rate 65 FPS(10bit) Shutter Rolling shutter Exposure Range 32µs-2000s Readout Noise 7.3-~3.6 e- QE Peak about 80% Full Well 18 k e- ADC 12 bit Data Port USB3.0/USB2.0 Adapter 1.25" / M28.5X0.6 Back Focal Length 7.5 mm Protective Window AR coating Diameter 40 mm Weight 65 g Resolution and FPS Under USB3.0 mode Resolution 10bit ADC 1280×960 65 FPS More resolution options could be setup in capture softewares!
