Auriga PREMIUM FLAT FIELD 5.5 EYEPIECE

Auriga presents the Premium Flat Field eyepiece family with a 60° apparent field of view (65° for the PF15.5 model), 31.8mm barrel, and FMC anti-reflective coating.

The Auriga PF series consists of three eyepieces of 5.5mm, 10.5mm, and 15.5mm, respectively. The PF series eyepieces are composed of 5 elements (6 for the PF5.5 model). The sophisticated optical design of these eyepieces guarantees an exceptional user experience on any type of instrument. The 60° flat apparent field represents the ideal compromise for those seeking eyepieces that are not excessively expensive but offer outstanding performance and features. The sharpness and contrast of these eyepieces will surprise even the most attentive and meticulous observers. Incredible observations of the lunar and solar surfaces, as well as deep-sky objects, await you. Observing lunar craters through Auriga PF eyepieces will be an unforgettable experience. The performance at the edge of the field is excellent, and there are no spurious reflections or artifacts. The FMC anti-reflective coating ensures very high levels of contrast modulation, resulting in sharp, bright, well-defined images without artifacts. The 31.8mm barrel is CNC-machined from aluminum and features a comfortable rubber grip for a firm and effective hold, even when wearing gloves. The eye relief is 7mm for the 5.5mm model and 16mm for the 10.5 and 15.5 models.
