AstroMedia Sun Projector Kit

This practical instrument allows multiple people to observe sunspots, planetary transits, and eclipses comfortably and in complete safety. No solar filter is necessary, because thanks to sophisticated optics, observers will only see a projection of the Sun's image.

The solar image can be set to a size of 75 or 55 mm and allows for viewing perpendicular to the incident light - very practical when the Sun is high!

The optics consist of an achromatic two-lens glass system with a 30 mm diameter, a 250 mm focal length, and 5 adjustment levels down to 12 mm; a replacement lens with two convex mirrors with focal lengths of 10 and 14 mm respectively; and an acrylic flat mirror.

The projector is housed on a Dobsonian base and can be adjusted to any angle between 0° and 90°. In addition, two integrated dials allow you to determine the Sun's altitude.

The entire instrument measures only 20x20x25 cm and can therefore be stored on any shelf.
Assembly kit made of sturdy 350 g die-cut cardboard, with an elegant, gold-printed design.
