Askar 1x Full Frame Flattener for 140APO

The Askar 1x flattener is a field corrector dedicated to the Askar 140APO apochromatic refractor. It is designed to eliminate field curvature while keeping the instrument's original focal length and focal ratio unchanged.

Maintaining original focal length

The 1x factor does not introduce any reduction or variation in focal length (980 mm f/7). The telescope therefore retains its geometric performance and image scale, with an optically corrected field.

Field optimization for large format

The optical group is calculated to ensure pinpoint stars up to the edges of the sensor, making it compatible with Full Frame cameras. Improved flatness allows for uniform rendering across the entire photographic area.
