Askar 0.8x Reducer for 160APO
The Askar 0.8x reducer is designed for the Askar 160APO apochromatic refractor, allowing you to reduce the focal length and widen the field of view while maintaining optical correction optimized for astrophotography.
Focal reduction and increased brightness
By applying the 0.8x factor, the 160APO focal length is reduced, making the system faster and allowing for shorter exposure times for deep-sky imaging. The captured field of view is wider compared to the standard configuration.
Field correction for large formats
In addition to reducing the focal length, the corrector is optimized to maintain pinpoint stars to the edges of the sensor, making it compatible with Full Frame sensors.
