Askar 0.75x Reducer for 71F
The Askar 0.75x reducer is designed for the Askar 71F refractor, allowing you to reduce the focal length and widen the field of view while maintaining optical correction optimized for astrophotography.
Focal reduction and increased brightness
By applying the 0.75x factor, the focal length of the 71F changes from 490 mm to approximately 368 mm, with the focal ratio dropping from f/6.9 to approximately f/5.2. This allows for a faster system and shorter exposure times when shooting deep-sky objects.
Field correction
The reducer is designed to maintain pinpoint stars to the edges of the sensor, making it compatible even with large-format sensors.
