The Askar ACL200 is designed precisely to optimize sky imaging quality. This ingenious optical apparatus successfully eliminates otherwise redundant optical accessories. You will have no trouble using the ACL200 if you are familiar with standard cameras.

The Askar ACL200 is an optical device designed specifically to optimize astrophotography quality, while also meeting the needs of terrestrial imaging. It is compact, lightweight, and easy to use, an ideal combination of astrograph and photographic lens. Optical results are significantly improved as edge distortion and chromatic aberration are noticeably controlled. The Askar ACL200 will offer you sharp and excellent celestial images along with a better exploration experience.

Dual focal adjustment for astrophotography. Coarse and fine adjustment (1 mm) makes focusing faster and more convenient.

The adjustable aperture size from f/4 to f/22 integrated into the Askar ACL200 makes it ingenious for ground imaging as well. Its focusing distance is 3 meters.

You will no longer worry about image blur caused by vignetting or chromatic aberration. The Askar ACL200 full-frame astrophotographic lens with an integrated flattener can help you resolve coma or other aberrations. The relatively fast f/4 focal ratio can effectively shorten exposure time and reduce the astrophotographic load on the equatorial mount during long-term tracking.

We have made some changes to the old ACL200, hoping to improve our customers' experience, which include a handle with a standard Vixen-style finder slot, a new type of mounting ring, and two extra thumbscrews.

Compared to the old mounting ring, the new ring features an extruded stem for handle installation. And the newly added handle with a Vixen-style finder slot is suitable for many attachment purposes, such as finders or ASI Air controllers. Furthermore, the handle can also be equipped with a dual connection for a controller and a finder, as its length can accommodate both accessories.

This lens is designed with a triplet of six lenses, including two pieces of extra-low dispersion ED glass, making it better than normal lenses at reducing chromatic aberration and providing a clearer image.
