With the HAE43, iOptron offers a compact, transportable dual mount with azimuthal or equatorial functionality and a load capacity of up to 20kg without counterweights or up to 25kg with a counterweight (counterweight and tripod available separately and not included).

iOptron' popular Go2Nova® technology also provides this mount with a database of 212,000 objects, as well as ASCOM compatibility and, thanks to the integrated WiFi, the ability to control it via tablet or smartphone using SkySafari, Raspberry Pi or INDI. The dual Vixen/Losmandy head and its sturdy construction enables even medium-sized telescopes to be mounted and used.

iOptron’s iPolar is available for automatic and easy polar alignment.

The built-in “Electronic Friction Brake” control mechanism stops the mount from moving as soon as the electricity supply is unexpectedly interrupted. After the mount has been switched on, it automatically calibrates itself and detects its own position. A mains adaptor and a robust (but lightweight!) carry case are also included. An optional tripod and tripod extension tube are sold separately as the HAE43 can fit on any sturdy photography tripod with a suitable load capacity.
