The micrometric movements on both axes allow for smooth and precise tracking. It is motorized with the Synscan Wi-Fi system via the included module, which will also allow you to practice long-exposure astrophotography thanks to the ST4 port integrated into the system. Additionally, the included polar scope allows for precise polar alignment, thanks also to the accurate azimuth and altitude adjustments.

It can accommodate telescopes equipped with a Vixen dovetail bar, thanks to its mounting saddle. It has a maximum payload of approximately 10kg, allowing it to support Newtonians up to 200mm in diameter, refractors up to 120mm, or short-tube 150mm refractors, as well as SCTs up to 200-230mm. It can also be controlled via computer using the excellent EQMOD drivers, which are available for free on the internet. The steel tripod has an adjustable height from 80 to 130cm and provides great stability to the system.
FEATURES Type: GoTo Equatorial Mount Motor speed: from 0.25x to 800x Tracking speed: Sidereal, Lunar and Solar Control: Via Wi-Fi module or optional SynScan SK-HAND5 hand controller Database: 42,000 objects Maximum payload: 10 kg INCLUDED ACCESSORIES Accessories: Adjustable steel tripod, 2x5kg counterweights, Polar scope, 220v power supply.
Main features

Skywatcher quality for a reliable and satisfying observation experience.

Type: Without Absolute Encoders

Mount type: Equatorial Only

Payload: Up to 10 kg

Tracking system: With GoTo

Encoder system: Without Absolute Encoders

Built-in Wi-Fi: NO

Main technical specifications

Brand

Skywatcher

Model

Skywatcher EQ5 Synscan Mount

Type

German Equatorial Mounts

Type

Without Absolute Encoders

Mount type

Equatorial Only

Payload

Up to 10 kg

Tracking system

With GoTo

Encoder system

Without Absolute Encoders

Built-in Wi-Fi

NO

Free shipping
Take advantage of free shipping throughout Italy for orders over €199.99!

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0766/0722/6072/files/9f9e8c023efe5cc81eb96e0242a41473_edb1332f-b574-467a-9c9e-7c0007db3b3b.jpg?v=1789682997
