The belt-drive system allows for smooth, backlash-free tracking even with heavier optical tubes, exceeding 25kg, while integrated optical sensors and internal architecture allow you to comfortably control the mount remotely without any worries. The ability to manage the forward and backward movement of the mount finally allows you to shift the center of gravity as you please, providing the most precise balancing and weight distribution possible. Convenient handles on the mount and the brand-new, even sturdier tripod, combined with the ergonomic design of the accessory tray, make the CGX mount easy and comfortable to transport, ideal for amateur astronomers constantly on the move. Redesigned knobs, improved materials, and mechanical and electronic advancements make the CGX the most high-tech Celestron mount ever. An autoguide port, two auxiliary ports useful for connecting the mount via Wi-Fi using Sky Portal (sold separately) and for connecting the Star Sense camera (sold separately), a USB input port useful for connecting the telescope to a PC to manage its movements and alignment via the included software, a NexStar*+ hand controller with a mini-USB connector, and many other new features like an internal clock complete the characteristics of the CGX, ensuring unforgettable nights of observation and photography.

Key Features

Celestron quality for a reliable and rewarding observation experience.

Type: Without Absolute Encoders

Mount type: Equatorial Only

Load capacity: Up to 30 kg

Tracking system: With GoTo

Encoder system: Without Absolute Encoders

Built-in Wi-Fi: NO

Main Technical Specifications

Brand

Celestron

Model

Celestron CGX Mount

Type

German Equatorial Mounts

Type

Without Absolute Encoders

Mount type

Equatorial Only

Load capacity

Up to 30 kg

Tracking system

With GoTo

Encoder system

Without Absolute Encoders

Built-in Wi-Fi

NO

Free shipping
Take advantage of free shipping throughout Italy for orders over €199.99!
